Verdant - 300 Laps Of Your Garden Pale Ale

Taking advantage of the time difference from the US to start my first ever WBAYDN thread with this delicious lunch beer from Verdant (a leading craft brewery from the United Kingdom for those not familiar). Love the artwork and the sandpaper-like feel of Verdant's can labels.

Good day BAs! Thanks @The_Kriek_Freak for starting today's thread! The UK has some wonderful pubs with great selections of cask beers - thanks for sharing local craft and please continue!

My New Breakfast Beer from the continuing inventory reduction program is:

Of course the cork was stuck so I had to use my cork removal tool to ease it out:

As I've mentioned previously, I'm a fan boy of Old Raspy, both the base beer and its iterations, but this was definitely a weaker version, perhaps because of the age. Here alcohol leads the flavor, not the flavor leading the alcohol. but what can I say - it's still an Old Raspy! Rating 4.16, rDev -2.3%.

Thank you both. I'm actually reporting from Greece. Lots of good local and other European beers to share with you all.

Thanks to @The_Kriek_Freak for kicking off the thread. Must be awful kicking off your Greek morning with a tasty British brew!

It's Tuesday night here and today's beer is Route des Epices from Brasserie Dieu du Ciel! Many thousands of kilometres from where it was brewed, but drinking beautifully with creamy green peppercorn and gingery fruit complementing the natural spiciness of the rye base, and perfectly complementing a gloomy Autumn evening.

    Cheers!

Good morning BAs! Thank you @The_Kriek_Freak for kicking things off from Greece today. Verdant brewery is always on my buy list (if I can find it) when I travel abroad. Great beers!

Steamy 70° walk with dogs this morning…kitchen cleaned…hit me with another cup of “coffee” - KBS Hazelnut:

Bottled 1/27/22. Poured at 54° after sitting on counter for 15 minutes, out of the “beer” chiller. Still strong hazelnut nut nose. Nutty chocolate taste; coffee and bourbon not so much…Plenty of 4 pks on the shelves down here, I’d bet the $26.99 price tag holds most folks at bay…no OG or FBS on the shelves at 3 different locations yesterday…I may drive up to Seminole, FL today and see what I can find…

Have a terrific Tuesday y’all and Cheers!

Another “coffee” as I ease into my day…I believe this is my last FBS on hand:

Our yard mowing crew has come and gone this morning…hot work/glad it’s not me out there mowing. Dogs are in the backyard now. They only want a few minutes out, then back inside for which they will pine…the temp mid morning has ticked up to 76° with 86% humidity, our version of summer is beginning and will only get more humid and hotter…

Mrs. Z keeps our inside living space a cool (chilly for me) 70°…hence, Stout weather year ‘round! Cheers y’all!

My last Tree House IPA from my most recent trip. Does that mean it's time for another visit?

Just short of three years old. Held up well, especially for a coffee stout. Full review in the cellar review thread.

The pool is open and I'm ready for a swim. First, though, I want to finish painting the patio. Actually, before anything else, I want to enjoy this beer.

Today's cool, wet weather put me in the mood for some Porter. Delicious decision to start.

Figure I'll pregame a couple before heading over to parents' retirement place to rack 'em up in the billiards room with my Dad before dinner at their Bistro this evening.
