Yea that's right, you know who you are! It’s time to bust out your [gl]ass and showcase the most unique, distinct, fun and downright insane pieces of glass you have ever drank out of or do drink out of.

    A celebration of glass indeed!

No filter, no rules, totally subjective and anything counts.

I'll let those that enjoy enjoy, buy I've seen some pictures that show the art, or lack there of, of the glass but do absolutely nothing to enhance the beer and I'm not fan. I see this thread being all about it though

It not all about anything. Thats why there are no filters and it totally subjective. If a pint glass that has special lettering or logo is unique to you then it counts!

It's also not solely about enchaing beer either. It's a celebration of glass period.

It's not one of those sci-fi glasses made by someone on acid, and probably not that unique, but when I first got into craft I was drinking beer out of coffee mugs because I didn't have any beer glasses. I went to what is now my favorite craft store and was paying for a Kasteel beer when I mentioned my lack of proper glassware. The owner ran to the back room, and she came back with this promotional glass, and gave it to me. I only used it once for the Kasteel beer but it was the start of my craft habit and my glass collection. I get a kick out of brewery building in the base.

Okay, I don't know what the hell this thing is. But for three bones at the Salvation Army store, I couldn't pass it up.

I don't know WTF that is either. And it looks awkward AF to drink. But my gosh. That pour is (those pours are) glorious. Well done!

My 'vote' is that this is a large Stange with a handle; a novel concept IMO.

    Cheers!

P.S. Maybe I will have to start a poll-thread titled "Have beer glasses jumped the shark?" :stuck_out_tongue:

High-ABV wouldn't hurt the glaze or anything.

I have quite a few glasses that I rarely use, but bought for their design, and the very official Glass Of The Day competition on WBAYDN?. These are my favorites!

The story behind this one was that I got Lucky Bucket's new Lucky Joe BBA Imperial Coffee Stout and liked it. I noticed on their Facebook page that they'd just had a release party the week before, and they had been giving away this matching glass. I contacted the brewery and asked if they had a glass left that I could buy. They said no, but they did have one someone from the release party left behind, so they sent it to me free. Free cool glass FTW.
