Full review in the New Beer Weekend thread, which I hope you can join us in. This is a very nice light refreshing Wild Ale. Southbound to grab a few things at the grocery and an Italian Beef from my favorite Chicago (ok Harwood Heights) joint (Jay's Beef).

Was asleep for the WXRT 1979 Flashback so looking forward to sampling these songs.

Killing time waiting for Thing 2 so we can finish loading the vehicles and head out of this one pony town.

Westmalle is widely available in most supermarkets here in NL (around 2 €/$). Otherwise I would not have been so rude with the Westmalle.

Nice glass too by the way. I had a Unibroue glass when I was in Vancouver BC for two months in 2016. I still regret I did not bring it home. Whish I had it now ofcourse

Juicy orange and pillowy feeling. Slightly astringent (alcohol?). Still very good!

Ha, I was thinking more about how I typically pour a beer, which is very aggressive. Beer foam would be all over the place if I tried to pour into that (just out of my habit), and then the cup would have started to dissolve and it would be a huge mess

Glad you like Kat Edmonson, one of my favorites. She is from Houston, and would always frequent the local record store I would go to. Cause one, the owner Fred was awesome (passed away last year) and two cause Fred's wife was her high school teacher. So he always got a bunch of promotional stuff, and goodies nobody else would get. I always went with Fred and his wife to see Kat play whenever she came back to Houston, hoping she comes back again soon.
