We got a bag of 50. Steam them in two batches. Tonight, just two refused to open.

 

For once I was able to find pretty fresh SNPA finally! SNPA is always so damn old in the stores by me but this one was bottle on 3/31/22 !

So we are under 2 months old and thats a home run for freshness on my end for this beer.

Crazy how my pallet has changed but I sill do love this beer. Bought 2 six packs.

Phase Three Double Nectar Raspberry/Sweet Cherry. Tart raspberry bomb, with a nice cherry presence as it warms. Not too thick for the style, which makes it very drinkable, especially given the 7.8% abv.

 

Definitely enjoyed it. Such an easy drinker. I think they are making the best light beer in IL

 

I had an Ahi Tuna salad for lunch and two Melvin IPAs. I'm going for seafood now that I'm feeling 'risky' with the Covid. Didn't get it and still don't want it. The tuna was excellent too and paired well with the IPA. Cheers!!

The time spent on stereo system tuning has yielded very nice results. What? Yup, vibration tuning can yield a nice sonic benefit.

Anyhow, enjoying a new beer to me and I really really like it. A bit of sulfur, lots of soft minerality and apricot or mango notes. Right up there with Mountain Standard from Odell although that is different and not hazy.

Sierra Nevada - Summer Break Hazy Session - While it is not low carb or low cal it is very tasty. I gave it a 3.85 or Very Good rating. Perfect for a record 89 degree day in Colorado

 

Just came off a remote in Korea. Had a hard time caring about anything that didn't support breaking stuff or killing people.

I put on my Doc Martens and boiler jumpsuit for cooking dinner tonight, but Mrs. Hiwattowner, through her raised eyebrows, let me know she thought it a bit excessive. I also think that the Michelin inspector questions the fashion choice. Oh well.

 

On to the Derby, my “money” on Summer is Tomorrow,

Nice beer, I was there for the release. Didn’t know they were letting one out until we pulled in to NG at 10 am and there was a full on tailgate party going on. Between two of us we bought four, drank one that day and gave away the rest. Cheers, Jason!

Stumbled upon Lost in the middle of the first episode on network TV. Never had a show where our world stopped when a new episode came on. Haven't watched another series since it ended. Didn't think it could get better than this. Here we go again. Hamms. Cheers!
