Rye on Rye from Boulevard, tastes like it kinda wants to be a pumpkin beer. Pretty great.

I may be out of Tropicalia and was too lazy to stop on the way home, but I do have couple more of the Pigs, via @Blogjackets !

 

Not usually a fan of ipa’s with lactose, but this is exceptional.

 

My first go at this beer, I'm a fan.

 

Holy cow, opened the liner notes of the Bill Evans Inner Spirit album and, there is a great big poster of him with a huge grin on his face. I don't think I have ever seen a picture of him smiling like this. Unfortunately, he would pass within a year cause of heroin and alcohol issues that plagued him his entire life

 

Both very solid tunes. Thought "In the Wilderness" was the best off that album. Very different sound from everything that followed. Cheers!

 

Ok. I’m going to try to do my best @DavetotheB ! Grilling up some Klements hot dogs with a von Trapp Vienna lager.

 

Me, Julia, and @dbrauneis at steel hands now. pizza and pretzels.

Steel hands all citra ipa. Awesome new England ipa. Red grapefruit, orange juice, peach, pineapple, passionfruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/ rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, lt caranel, herbal, floral, grass, yeast earth. Lt-med pine rind bitter. Creamy/bready and sticky/resin med full body. Long resin drying with no astringency. Nicely soft but still very dank and resinous on citra. Reminds me of zombie dust a bit. 4.2


Amazing beer cheese and honey mustard pretzel. With cheeseburger and meat monster pizzas.

Project find the limit #10 by Tree House

 

I'm now enjoying my last Zero Gravity Brewing Cone Head IPA and it's awesome! We're spinning Peter Frampton Comes Alive! I saw this tour when he opened for ......fuckin drumroll......Black Sabbath in July 1975 at the Lakeland Civic Center. The internet says tickets were $6 but I'm pretty sure we paid $9 to get in........none the less, music history!!

Peach IPA - a nice balance of sweet and bitter
at 8Bit Aleworks in Avondale, AZ


Old school game machines at each table with different games on request.

There is a nice vibe at this place.

 

Two NEIPAs today: Solar Squeeze from Astral Brewing and Pink Fluffy Ewenicorns from Baa Baa Brewing, both in the Houston area. Both on tap at local eateries. I preferred the Solar Squeeze, very fruit and pleasantly sweet. The Baa Baa beers was beautiful and a good beer, but a bit dry and thin for me. This style is tasting good in the 100+ heat!

 

This is the closest to Pilsner urquell I've had from an American brewery it’s almost perfect.

 

Second and final pour here, a Maplewood beer brewed by and at Grand Central.
