A traditional style Helles brewed with high quality heritage malt from Germany and noble hops. A refreshing hint of lemon with malt notes throughout and a crisp, dry finish. This may be our favorite style of summer beer!

16oz can served in a curvy Monhegan pint glass. Canned on 04/14/25. I think I picked it up in Chicago, but I don't remember which store.

Pours clear light gold with a big fluffy head. Moderate carbonation. Smell is grainy and clean, a little earthy and grass, little bit of musty dusty silo.

Taste is more lemon rind than the aroma suggested, almost a sourness to the grain, lots of husk. Earthy but clean.

Mouthfeel is light, smooth, borderline watery. Overall, nice.

Very slightly hazy golden color with a respectable off white head, good retention and even some light lacing.
The aroma is crackery malt with hints of lemons and grass.
The taste is caramel, crackers and lemon zest. The finish is dry with some grassy herbal notes, mild bitterness, nice balance.
The body is light, very good carbonation, crisp and very drinkable. Altogether, this is a fairly tasty and refreshing brew, the touch of lemon is a nice addition, should go well with most food and is a good summer cooler for all activities, well done.

16 oz an into a pint glass. Mostly clear yellowish-golden color with a solid 1.5 finger crown. Grassy hops, grain, and lemon zest aroma. Bready malt and cracker flavor with mild balancing grassy hop bitterness. Medium-light feel with good carbonation.

Canned 5/1/23; drank 6/28/23 @ the Yarchives.

See-through yellow/orange appearance.

A rough pour yielded a HUGE, noisy white head; nice, frothy lacing remained.

Cereal grain, honey & faint autumn leaf notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Honeyed cereal grain & mild autumn leaf flavors.

Solid Helles.

Straw yellow in color with a quarter inch of creamy off white on top. Moderate, soapy lacing. The aroma is of pale malt and just a whiff of grassy hops. I’m tasting light crackery grains. The mouth is very light and crisp.

16oz can stamped 05/23/22 (about 2 months old) poured into a perfect pint, no ABV listed on label. The beer pours between mostly bright and hefe-hazy, light gold in color with nearly white head. The head recedes to a thin ring and single layer of bubbles. Slight lacing. The aroma is mild with clean yeast and soft pils malt. The taste is more pils malt and earthy, noble hop flavor with a notable mineral quality front to back. It offers slightly higher than average bitterness for a Helles. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Absolutely no diacetyl. Overall, lovely beer. I detracted some points for lack of clarity and bitterness, as neither are a trait of the style listed on the label.

On draft at 44 Canteen. Poured a clear, amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of caramel, toasted bread, floral notes and some citrus. Sweet caramel and toffee taste with a mild, bitter bite.

Pours a saturated light gold, with a slight haziness and ample foam, some delicate lacing present. Mild aroma, pilsner malt, white bread, a touch of grassiness. Soft on the palate, it has a nice malty middle with light hop accents of lemon and dried grass. Crisp, subtle, and smooth, it's well put together and drinks effortlessly. A great local Helles to rival Dovetail.

Murky bright yellow body with a finger of tight white foam and lazy lacing. Smell and taste match: honey crisp grains, white bread verging on flaky biscuit, kisses of lemon zest and crisp malts. Body is on the light end, very crushable, clean and crisp. Great for the height of summer. The wife liked it
