Bottled 9/24/22. Poured at 52°. Working on review for NBW, and it won’t be all happy faces…

Today’s forecast is sunny and low 60s. We may go to the nearby winery, or return to downtown Greenville to walk along the river/swamp rabbit trail. Yesterday, the town was packed with people…a more energetic vibrant downtown scene than I can remember seeing anywhere lately…street musicians, restaurants and stores open, and lots of families to elders walking a very pedestrian friendly city. Good on Greenville - Cheers and have a great day from Taylors, SC!

 

Not knowing any Finnish, Guten Morgen is as close as i can get. How much snow has fallen there in Helsinki? Nice looking beer!

 

German and Finnish have as much in common as Guarani and Japanese but nice try .

Today's New Breakfast Beer is Shiner TexHex Bruja's Brew IPA - I just got back from TX a week ago and I didn't notice any of these - probably because I'm wired to recognize Shiner bottles and not gaudy cans. Rating 3.9, rDev -1%. No photo - I just switched to Windows 11 and haven't yet figured out how to transfer data from my camera to my photo folder in file explorer.

Full review in the New Beer Weekend thread. Bottom line, this exceeded high expectations coming in, and delivered via a bottle when my previous favorite ESB experiences have all come via cask. Excellent offering.

Adding a second tune to my preplanned single offering enjoyed during the overnight and posted first.

Drink by August 9th 2027. Yeah, at this stage in my life, I reckon that I will drink them now rather than later. It is still a 5 rated beer of mine. At $11.99 a bottle, I surely can indulge in a few.
