Happy Saturday BA's! Slept in til 7, 3 mile run done, finished laundry and shooting practice. Now enjoying a Jai Alai and it's resting on a very dirty car. The temp is to approach 80 today so it'll be perfect car washing weather after lunch.

Starting the day at Epcot. Rode Guardians of the Galaxy, my cousin isn't feeling too well.

Really excited for this one. Notice the three different brewery items lol. On the side, I have a rump roast sandwich with melted cheese, spicy pickles, and a salsa made with amber ale.

Update: Massive red wine smell and flavor.

Just stopped in Good Word Brewing to pick up some of their English Porter. Bummer they are out, but notice they have a Dunkles Bock - Jinsonator 6.4%. This is delicious. Nice malt presence. Semi-Sweet. Not too boozy. I'll be walking out with some for sure.

Always wondered how Pliny the Elder compares - I've never had it.

 

Waiting on the pizza to cook, some Schell's Snowstorm Mahogany Lager in the meantime.

 

Now here is something underappreciated. A Petite IPA. Yep, looks quite thin. But, this one is packed with Vic Secret & Cashmere hops. Nice moderate hoppy citrus & tropical fruit aromas & flavors with a touch of bitterness. You can crush these on a hot summer day.

East Court Squares Petite IPA 3.6% abv by Good Word Brewing. Cheers !

 

Not a sexy style for sure but oh boy is it tasty. I see a lot of them lately which is great. This one is particularly good.

 

A little lobster pizza from Flying Boat Taproom for lunch BA's. Pairing well is a 3 Sons Brewing Rubber Bands and Weight DDH DIPA.
