    Thanks for the info about Sam Adams. Celebrator sounds like the Doppelbock to beat for you and for most. Might have to do an Andech vs Ayinger Doppelbock battle in the future.

    That's a hell of a side by side there. I also favor Andechs, such a good beer. Korbinian is right behind it then Celebrator for me. I love how easy it is to find Celebrator tho.

    ...another German doppelbock I had recently (but didn't rate or review): Ettaler -- Curator...planning to do a side-by-side with Ayinger's 'Celebrator, I guess because I thought Curator was pretty good, too...anyway, it's worth checking out if you run across it in the North Country...don't see it around here now...it disappeared quickly...

    Enjoying a 500 ML (750 ML bottle) pour of Fonta Flora's Decoy variant that is made with Maple and Fenugreek and aged 15 months in bourbon barrels. This is very enjoyable; the brewing team did a nice job assimilating the flavors. It is very well balanced as the barrel and Fenugreek do the heavy lifting on this. Thanks @BMBCLT for the trade!

    That and thier heller bock is delicious. That 1 is pretty damn dangerously drinkable for 9% imo. I'd like to pick up some again when it's available.
