Good morning all, and have a great Sunday!

Drinking Delirium Tremens now, later on this afternoon we’re going to the cinema for the last John Wick movie. Critics seems good but it’s a bit of a long one, near three hours.

    Cheers!

Weihenstephaner. In Germany no one would pay for a lousy pour like this I believe  But we are not there until Monday morning .

I typically don't watch award shows, but I guess Billie Eilish performed at the Grammys with a Taylor Hawkins tee shirt on, that's just badass by a young performer. Dave & Billie.......her smile just shows she's performing with one of her heros......

    Happy Sunday Advocates,
mine is not from today but it relates to an important event from a few days ago that I indicated in the local forums.

    https://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/tipopils-day-2023-in-italy-and-europe.672051/

This is TipoPils in a gravity-fed cask with an additional dry hopping made inside the cask itself thanks to a hop bag containing the blend of hops we use for Tipopils is suspended inside the cask.
Compared to the "normal" version, the look is slightly more veiled, although still very clean.
Soft and creamy foam, slightly less consistent.
Carbonation, clearly, less lively than the TipoPils tapped from a keg (and for my taste I really liked this).
The taste is greatly influenced by the live hopping: the cereal and bread crust part is lost in favor of a much more evident herbaceous sensation (just like fresh grass).
Even the finish is much less dry, softer than the "classic" TipoPils which leaves a decidedly more recognizable bitter sensation.
Very easy and pleasant to drink, such a product is not easy to find in our Italian production.
    It's always worth it.

So want. Unavailable in my state, I must travel a ways to obtain.

Tenuously sustaining this avatar of mine, how infrequently I get to enjoy a Delirium.

Feeling like a charlatan, a fraud, an imposter at the moment hahaha! Cheers sir!

Stayed up late again last night into the wee hours here, so slept in this morning…coffee and orange juice for breakfast? I bought one of the last bottles of this beer at the brewery 3 weeks ago - “BA SZN” BBA 3 years imperial stout with Chocolate Orange, Cycle Brewing, Inc., St. Petersburg FL:

Released at brewery 11/5/22.This bottle Bought at brewery 3/4/23. Poured at 54° straight out of my chiller. Orange Cointreau nose with chocolate along side for the ride. Orange Chocolate candy taste with a bit of bourbon on the back end. Overall still orange strong at almost 5 months out; tasty orange zest linger. A wonderful orange stout! A lot more orange than the 20 month old Bottle Logic orange stout I drank yesterday. If you have this Cycle beauty in your cellar, I suggest you drink it now while it is great (and before the orange fades).

    4.25 | 4.5 | 4.75 | 4.5 | 4.5
Checked my original score and only difference is now I gave appearance a 4.25 down from a 4.5 back in November. I love chocolate orange stouts, they’re rare and hard to do well…this beer is a winner!

Outdoor temps are already in the mid-70s. Sunny and high humidity makes it feel hotter…looking at the week ahead, I fear we are on the precipice of an early, hot summer here in SWFL…thinking on joining @GreenBayBA in Sheboygan come May…

If you haven’t done so already, come join in the fun over on the March Beer Madness thread. You can drink/post/vote for your favorite beer(s) currently playing in our beer Great 8 today. I hope to see y’all over in the brackets - Cheers!

But staying close to home at Bunnyman. Starting with their Altbier. Not as dry as I’d like, but not too shabby.
