Summerfest Lookout Thread (2023)

I've never had this beer but all of the talk here has me very interested to find it. Was a release date ever given by SN?

No, but if I hear you have it there before I see it in the Chicago area I might have to start a protest in front of my SN distro.

Well, I know I added the emoji, but I'm sort of serious.

I wouldn't put it past my distro to not even order the SF because it didn't sell last year.

 

I'm always looking to try new stuff, so I'll absolutely give this brew a try and rate it accordingly. Hopefully it's good stuff!

 

Well, if you do some BA research you can find the Summerfest isn't really "new," it's been around some time and took a hiatus last year because sales were down the year previous.

Many of us were unhappy about the discontinuation, but somehow Todd negotiated a comeback for all of us!

So NO SINGLES EVERYONE! But a six or 12 and enjoy!

I was at work, so I didn't really have time to do a quick search. It was a beer that was new to me, so, like I had stated earlier, I am always looking to try new things. I will certainly still be on the lookout for it.

 

Just found this thread. I've been checking the locator and I was hoping to see some out there in different spots of the country but haven't been able to spot any yet. Has any one else had any luck?

 

Oh snap! I've been checking every day for the last week or so and came up with nothing.....and of course this morning...BAM! Spots around me have it! Some are a good drive away but we'll see what happens by this weekend. Supposed to be in the upper 80's in my neck of the woods and I'm sure a nice cold summerfest will go well with ushering in warmer weather!

 

So I hate to be that guy but it doesnt taste like how I remember it. No I cant put my finger on whats different. I could be wrong but I have a feeling. I'll just wait to see if others think it tastes different as well.

 

Here we go... next you're going to tell us you bought a single, so you can't try a couple before you decide.
