    *Clear throats*, hum-hum. Open curtains, guess who’s back, back again..?

    Shanex and his typical Belgian tripel properly chilled on a day that’s going to be hell, weather wise. 36c expected this afternoon. I did what I have to do before midday for obvious reasons. Now onto drinking Chimay Tripel:

    Wasn’t able to go on a proper beer run this time (outside of getting some Westvleteren). I think I was taken to a grocery store called Wimpi. Wanted a Kriek and I got one… but not a very good one :stuck_out_tongue:

    Moving a couple of doors down to Balance Brewing & Blending, starting with a Saison de Maison blend 4. Another place I have to get back to with some more time.

    Blend 2 of Saison de Maison. These remind me a lot of Anchorage saisons, which is a huge compliment.

    Good day/morning BAs! Usual chores done, it’s coffee time - “Voluntary Exile” a Baltic Porter from Threes Brewing, Brooklyn NY:

    Canned 1/10/23. Poured at 54°. Long bitter roast linger. Drinks light for 9.2% abv. Working on notes for NBW thread.

    Bottle share at the pub this afternoon; always a good time. Cheers and have a satisfying Saturday y’all!

    My previous beer was good, but I have to get the excess bitter roast linger out of my mouth…moving on to a bitter roast breakfast beer I enjoy - FBS:

    Bottled 6/26/23. Poured at 57°. Bitter roast coffee and chocolate. Balanced. One of my favs.

    Already 88° out on the balcony; it’s going to be hot and humid again today. Glad all I have is beer drinking on my plate today - Cheers!
