What beer are you drinking now? #4026

Over the in-laws today for a catch up and a Sunday roast. Finished the pumpkin, not the most exciting design but it's about my limit.

Beer is a decent single hop pale by Adnams

 

We moved into this house two years ago. It has been the best for our family. Cleaning the garage and hanging in all day sipping beers. My kind of Sunday. Cheers all.

 

Absolutely love this beer.

 

Many years ago I made my sister (who lives in the UK) bring me a bunch of iconic (yet readily available) British beers. I can asked for this one too. And I agree, it was delicious. Cool story about the origin of the name too.

 

Indeed, it's a very interesting story.

I've been lucky enough to have this served from wooden cask a couple of times. They use Sherry or whiskey barrels, the pub does not know what they're getting until it turns up. I've only had the Sherry barrel version.

 

Good day BAs! Thanks @belvedere86 for starting today's thread! We've been sliding into winter for a couple of weeks now - 46F/8C and raining - expecting a freeze Monday night which will kill the last of my peppers. I've already sucked up and burnt leaves 5 times in the last 10 days, but now that we're heading south, the rest will fall and be waiting for us when we get back.

taking @Braunmeister_1943 ’s advice and switching to Evan Williams Bottled in Bond shortly. For now working on the clearance pack of Stone delicious IPA I picked up Friday
