Let it be known dude, I have curtailed my consumption of cheap white wine. More beer. Less wine. Someone should make that a commercial.

Got a new brewery to visit in Richmond. Actually, it is located a bit west of Richmond. I will wait to go there until your next Richmond visit.

 

Try it my friend. Although l prefer IPAs a good lager is definitely worth having. And this is a good one.

I have been to the brewery at least a dozen times over the years. A big, sprawling, facility. At the base of a mountain that leads to the Wintergreen ski resort.

I've had quite a few while watching the Packers blow another game and hearing my Grandma has passed away (she was 94, and I did get to say goodbye to her on Friday). Now enjoying a Hop Valley Alpha Centauri.

Prop ‘22. Gotta get ready for Prop Day next weekend. I put off trying this one because of the banana, coconut, pineapple, and lime combo. It is surprisingly good. Coconut and banana come thru big with a faint hint of lime at the end.

16 ounce can packaged 09/25/23.

Vigorous pour yields a 1/8 inch mocha head over a near black body with scant lacing.

Nose of dark malt, vanilla, and slight coffee and a bit of milk chocolate.

Taste of coffee, vanilla, and milk chocolate; finishing with slightly bitter coffee and bitter chocolate.

Feel is good with nearly medium carbonation.

Overall, pretty tasty and I would have another!
