I'm enjoying this offering from Sullivan's out of Kilkenny Ireland. I bought a 4pack and it came to around $3.50 a can. Worthy I reckon.

Good Friday BA's! Windy, about 70 and some rain blowing thru this afternoon. Shopping and a 3 mile walk complete. Time for a King Sue while prepping lunch.

 

Enjoying a delicious Berkshire Steel Rail Extra Pale Ale, 5.3% - cheers to you!



-Look: Crystal clear bright gold with a beautiful fluffy white head.
-Smell: Toasted grains and baked bread with mild grassy hops.
-Taste: Amazingly balanced and smooth - delicious!
-Feel: Soft and round, full and slippery.
-Overall: Very good pale that's flavorful and highly drinkable!

 

Afternoon BA! Well it's been a funny day for me, found out today that I'm being made redundant from the job I've been doing for the last 26 years. Not really sure how I feel about it yet so I'll have a few beers to see if that helps! Cheers.

I've got today off work, and I got hit by @turfy today in a trade. He hit me hard, and I am having one he sent me.

Desert Fog - Marble Brewing - Albuquerque, NM - NEIPA - 6.8% ABV

Damn tasty, and now I'm at 49 out of 50 states. West Virginia to go, and I plan on getting that when I go to North Carolina in May, with a side trip to WV.

From a 12oz can BB 04/03/24

Very hazy and murky golden pouring beer. No clarity to this beer at all. Th head that forms is quite thick at 3 finger. Very frothy and fluffy looking with tiny bubbles for the most part. The head has great retention and some damn nice looking lacing as it dissipates.
The aroma is tropical in nature and hit while I was pouring the beer. Up close it is very tropical. I get lots of pineapple and grapefruit.
Taste - The flavor starts out malty, and a buttery biscuit. This flavor is replaced by the tropical hops with pleasing pineapple and grapefruit notes. The hops have a slight bitterness to them that lingers and is pleasing to my taste buds.
Somewhat juicy feeling. Somewhat soft feeling. Decent body overall, and the feeling from the hop bitterness lingers.
This is a tasty IPA and I'm so happy I got to try it.

A beautiful morning here in the ol' Mission Valley- 40 degrees and plenty of sunshine. No school for the kids today and managed to get an extra day off work myself, so some adventure awaits
