I'm hodge-podging through some left overs. Decent as they are, can't say that pils ain't lusty.

@RaulMondesi nudged me about an hour ago telling me to hurry up and kick myself out of the bed to shower and get my clothes on so to contribute in this new edition of Wbaydn.

I’m in! Drinking Tripel Karmeliet and being stereotypically French with such a breakfast:

Hazy light gold color with lasting white cap. Strong sharp hop aroma with a tropical vibe.

Taste is a big blast of juicy hop goodness resting on a malt base. Picture the malt as a pedestal and hops as the statue. There is a certain wine like quality like an oak aged Chardonnay with some ripe pears tossed into the barrel.

Overall this 8.3%'er is in the big boy range of IPAs and I find it right good company.

Might head out for wings and beer tonight if there is no trivia.

Myrtle Beach vacation beer: Jack's Abbey Copper Legend Oktoberfest. It ain't fresh, but I couldn't resist as I love JA and can't get it in Chicago. I was a little aggressive on the pour. Cheers!

Good day everyone! Thanks @RaulMondesi for opening the bar.

How does it taste? I bet it's still drinking fine.

Taking a day off doing some house work. Now relaxing with a flavorful and crushable Schilling Foy Belgian-Style IPA on a cloudy day.

Happy Wednesday ba. Day off so I’m up and at it here. Prognosticator, doppelbock lager, Grimm. Very smooth and crisp feel, with lots of nice flavor notes, of caramel toasted bread, and brown sugar. Single can grab but I will probably grab more,

I have the day off, all my projects are done, and wings are in the oven. Time to belly up to the WBAYDN bar with something delicious from @Whyteboar .

Green Hundo - Beards Brewery - Charlevoix, MI - American IPA - 7%

It is a bit more on the malty side than expected, but I do like the pine hop finish. Tasty, and I am so thankful this was sent to me to try.

    From a 12 oz can.

This beer has a nice amber hue, and is slightly murky. There's a decent amount of very tiny carbonation bubbles rising in the glass. The head that forms is a fairly thick, at 3 finger, and is slightly off white in color. Very fluffy and frothy looking. Decent head retention and a good deal of sticky lacing on the glass.
The nose is actually more malty than hoppy. I get a lot of buttery biscuit. I do get a bit of hops, and the hops lean toward pine smelling.
Taste - Like the nose, this is a very malty beer up front. Lots of buttery biscuit and a hint of sweetness in here. The hops do hit on the back, and it has a nice pine bitterness that does linger in my throat.
The body is fairly sticky feeling, very clingy, and darn full feeling.
This may be a bit malty, but does have a nice hop bill also. Overall delicious.
