Ah...the light shines in the east. So my tastebuds haven't totally deserted me - that's good. They have convoluted these different series - hard to follow.

I'll stand by it having that citrus soda flavor, but it's certainly more tropical.

    Thank you!

Well, it was a full day of moving lots of dirt and lumber and building shed bases and, well, sheds.
So I pulled one from the cellar that had been staring at me for quite some time. Years apparently.

Apparently a collaboration from 2020. BBA Imperial Stout with Almond Milk and Coffee.
Up front, I am very sad that I may never have this again.
Poured stout black with a light brown head with dark islands. Nice lacing too.
The taste is full of coffee and chocolate and while I would love to say I tasted the almond milk it would be a lie. I got vanilla. Something vaguely lactose like, but that’s not possible.
The feel is viscous and soft, very easy drinking.
OA, this is my kind of “pastry” stout. So good.
    Cheers!

    American Solera - Pop-a-Top

12oz can served in a tulip. Don't see a date on the can. Got it from @russpowell in NBS BIF #18.

Pours murky orange-yellow with a big, crunchy head. Smell is citrus and old hay.

Taste is lots of citrus, creamy orange, honeysuckle sweetness. Still has a faint background of old hay.

Mouthfeel is light, airy, smooth, creamy. Overall, it's good, though maybe just hitting its expiration date.

Drinking a new beer sent by @kemoarps in the BIF back in the Fall of 2022. I forgot to note that my bottle of Newspaper Sky from Holy Mountain (from Friday) was also a wonderful gift from @kemoarps !

This is Windsongs from Floodland. A wonderful saison. Poured at fridge temp. Pours clear yellow with minimal head.

The nose is fantastic. White grapes, funk, lemon, and wet grass.

The taste is sour grapes, resin, leather, bitter fruit, lemon. Lovely!

Dry finish with a sweet candy aftertaste.

    4.5/5

Hey All! Happy Late Night NBW.
I forgot to pop back on and catch up. (I'm on page 2). But in the meantime I added this to the DB, although it was not something that blew my socks off.
Sonic Substance by Ism in collaboration with Creature Comforts (LA).
Pours an almost hazy straw to gold in hue. Slight loosely, packed fluffy, head develops, and quickly drops off. Definitely low retention and minute lacing.
Very lackluster in the aroma, I think I can pick up a hint of guava and a little bit of earthy bitterness.
Flavor almost pops with a little more guava, some cracker grain, grass, and a muted hint of pineapple.
Mouthfeel is lightly active, but still feels thin.
