    1) Jever Pilsener (4.9%): An German Pils with flavors of earthy, pale Munich malts with a crisp, floral bitterness.
    versus
    2) Summit Twin Pils (5.1%): A zwickel-style beer from Minnesota that is a newer version of the Keller Pils with flavors of pale malts, soft grains, bread malt and hints of lemonflower. Smooth and clean. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    1) Jever Pils
: Pilsner Battle. First is Jever from Germany. One of my favorite German Pilsners. Authentic flavors, great mouthfeel, and crisp, floral, and bitter off the end.
Next is Summit Twin Pils. Another great pilsner from Minnesota. Lemonflower and bready notes. Clean and smooth. Both are fantastic and similar. Jever gets the win being more authentic.

Win or lose, bad season or championship, you can't beat fun at the old ballpark. I'm a Sox fan but still love going to Wrigley or any other stadium. While I want the Sox to break the Mets' all time 162 game futility record, still nice to see them win two of the three games I attended this season.

This beer is very similar to the Familiar version, despite being within the 210-240 day code. Full BA Review linked below.

Bottom line, glad I rated both Corona offerings, would give Familiar a second shot if I find fresh, but in the end I suspect there are better AAL options for my tastes elsewhere. Still always good to confirm, which is what the AAL tasting event is providing context.

Now batting for the Dodgers, Number 23, Adrian Gonzalez

I agree, Modelo Limon y Sal is a better option. Cheers!

Overpriced Mexican lager. Decent smell and sweetish flavor. Necessary maintenance. Salut

    1) Drekker Evil Natured Robots (8.0% canned 4/23/24): A NEIPA from North Dakota brewed with Mosaic & NZH-107 hops for flavors of orange citrus, green pineapple, guava, coconut, and lime
    versus
    2) Hop Butcher Loophole Technicality (7.5% canned 4/16/24): A NEIPA from Chicago with Amarillo, Strata, & Galaxy for flavors of tropical pineapple, mango, and peach. Tropical and sweet. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Winner: 1) Drekker Evil natured Robots
Drekker vs. Hop Butcher IPA Battle. First is Drekker Evil Natured Robots.. Great Mosaic and New Zealand combo. Fantastic tropical flavors that still remain bright.
Next is Hop Butcher Loophole Technicality. Strong tropical orange and peach notes from the Amarillo and Galaxy. Tropical and sweet. A little more peach and sweetness for my liking, but still good. Drekker getting the win here, one of my favorites.

Wasn't going to dring too much today because we're having a big party tomorrow. Then I cut the tip of my pinky off cutting rind on some hard cheese. It's throbbing, I need to medicate.

Lupulin's West Coast Bias poured a bit cloudy but cleared up(?) A bit on the sweet side in front but plenty of piney bitterness in the finish. I like it but I feel some may not consider it a true WCIPA.
