Wandering around the Blanco square this afternoon.

Ended up at Old 300 BBQ, across the street. With their Pancho & Lefty smoked sausage sandwich. Real Ale makes the Old 300 Lager for this BBQ spot alone. Flacked corn, light lager, its decent and goes well with the BBQ.

Probably another stop over at Real Ale later

Just knocked off the lawn mowing chore since it's supposed to be a rainy day tomorrow. Relaxing with a Foley Brothers Independence Day IPA now.

Radass Radeberger. Getting started on dinner and listening to the rare re-recording that doesn't suck:

Happy Friday BAs! Getting an early start on the weekend with a glass of Creemore Witbier. It really hits the spot on a hot summer afternoon after a long day of work. Cheers!

Geez, can't seem to get loose from work today. Bossman keeps piling on with things due Monday, like my Monday wasn't already full.

I'm checking out of work though. Cheers BAs!

After another long day of driving we made to to Columbia MO. We'll be meeting our daughter and son-in-law for dinner and beers at a local brewery in about an hour. In the meantime, I'm quenching my thirst with a can of Gamma Bomb, which I bought at Warped Wing Brewing last night. A solid American IPA. Cheers to the weekend, BAs!

It's been a long time since I've had a Scrimshaw. Too many local choices now but I always really enjoyed that beer. Cheers!

Starting on July 4th, we have what we call "Awesome time". We all get to take 2 hours off every week however we choose to do it without vacation or personal time. For example, you could take the full 2 hours off like I did today, or take a 1/2 hour off for 4 days .. you get the idea. It runs up to Labor Day weekend.

This might be the last year though because our CIO is retiring in September and whoever replaces him may not continue this policy. But it's been really popular for the last several years so hopefully they continue it - Cheers!!

I'd like that. Unfortunately, I'm in the financial services business and personalized service is our bread and butter. When big clients need something, we have to jump to it. It used to not happent happen too often, but the advisor I worked with retired recently and I was absorbed onto a larger, much less organized team. It's been secure the hatches ever since.

...I much preferred Red Seal back in the day (yes, two different beer styles), but for some odd reason, I can't find it here in Colorado Springs...I've grown to really love Scrimshaw, and, like you, don't usually gravitate towards it, but for the past month or so, I've really been craving it...
