Most don't know but i drink just as many Browns and Reds as i do Imperial Stout.
With the shit market of Imperial Stouts in my area, i have been leaning into these for the past 2 years or so .

Here's a favorite . A variation of Stones Lifeblood , another world class Brown Ale , Lifeblurred .Imperial Brown Ale . An 11% godsend. Shitting on all the mediocre onslaught of beer crap akin to the billboards you see on a fwy drive
    Long live the brown

i don't remember starting this thread though i sure do enjoy a brown ale.
Had Alesmiths Nut Brown for the first time this year and need to make it a regular purchase. Two or maybe 3 breweries make one regularly in SoCal which makes it difficult to slam these .

Note to self: don't go online after slamming 3 pints of 11%+ beers

Locally, Country Boy's Double Barrel Shotgun Wedding is a great annual BA brown ale release.

This weekend, Fabled Brew Works nearby is releasing a BA Deku, a brown ale with maple and walnuts.

We definitely don't see it in my area . I bought a single at Valley Beverage last month and loved it.

Also saw that Macleod has a Brown Ale on tap that i need to have after a cask pour.

How long until Brown IPA's become a thing? Or are they already?
I really appreciate a fine brown ale. Unfortunately they're pretty scarce these days.
My local Tröegs used to brew Rugged Trail Nut Brown ale, and it was one of their better offerings in my opinion.
I guess it didn't move enough?
A clone of Pete's Wicked Ale is a rotating standard on my home brew taps. I freaking love that beer!
Attention brewers: Brew more Brown Ales!

Dogfish Head used to have their Indian Brown Ale in their regular lineup.

It was phased out, but then brought back a few years ago, not sure the current status.

It’s on tap at the breweries down there from time to time; and I forget last time but it has been canned at the brewpub in its “retired from distro” status.
