Dark Wave, American-style stout from Varietal, as I decompress after four days in Sacramento for kids' theater.

 

I don't follow the sport anymore, but was a Packer fan in the 1980s and 1990s during the Majkowski / Favre era. Tried to go to a December game each year in Milwaukee (because we played football on Sundays through Thanksgiving Day weekend), but they discontinued those games. Steelers were my primary NFL team (bandwagon 70s - and the Packers stunk back then), but also liked the Raiders, Chiefs and Lions as secondary teams. Tertiary teams were the Vikings and Bucs when they played the Bears back in the NFC Central Days.

MLB and to a lesser extent the NHL are all I follow at this stage. Sox fan, but also a Tigers fan (they were never both good at the same time - though some of the brawls were real hatred between the two teams). Really wish the Sox signed Hinch instead of f'ing TLR. Miss games at Tigers Stadium on Michigan and Trumbull (and Ernie on the call during Summer nights). Went to many games including the last one. New park is "modern" but the majority of seats are too far away from the action.

Do you like all of the Detroit teams? Which is your favorite? I also like State, but believe you are a UM fan, IIRC.

This is the first time this has washed up on this western shores (Trader Joes) that I know of. A six pack at $8.99 seemed steep so I bought one and it's alright for what it is.
