Really good porter.

Speaking of really good porters, I was just at a store right over the line in Massachusetts and see that they now have Edmund Fitzgerald porter available. I don't recall Great Lakes beers ever being sold in RI or MA. Color me excited.

Thanks to @Braunmeister_1943 who had offered to send me some when I was complaining that the only way for me to get it was to drive down to PA. You embodied the spirit of BA.

This one is exactly what I needed.

 

Does a 22 oz bomber of IPA count for Tallboy Tuesday? Local brewery to me is still putting IPA in these in 2025 and I'm not mad about it. Nostalgic in a way.
Crown Till Death Do Us Part IPA. Orange marmalade, navel orange flesh and peel, bright floral, ruby red grapefruit flesh and peel, and pine resin balanced by a bready and ever-so-slight caramel malt presence. A very nice old school American IPA.

 

Don’t think I’ve had a bad beer from moonlight brewing. Always solid.

Kros Strain Barrelywine Volume 10 Williquors 2yr BBA English Barleywine, 13% ABV. I rated this 4.62 a year ago.

 

My son and I are trying Stone's Southern Charred. This bottle is 10 years old. It is definitely showing its age.

 

Damn, these go down soooooo easy ... and a nice change from hoppy beers.
