A quickly before returning back to bed. Need to get a haircut and then to Maplewood by 10 to celebrate Pulaski Day properly. Got there too late last year.

Nice to return to normal ABV beers after 18 Cellaruary beers.

Full review linked above, bottom line, this beer is fresh and popping. Let this warm if you seek wonderful Sabro coconut suntan lotion. Down it fast if you are seeking more fresh squeezed citrus.

 

Think I have two left in me. Have to go with the my annual tradition here.

Final call for me here, saved the strongest for last. This is a collaboration with Piece, one of our first craft breweries and my only stab at Connecticut New Haven Style Pizza (it’s good).

Yes, I was only here once last Summer since the last Pulaski Day. The new setup feels twice as Larrrge, and even with a large crowd of city and county workers off for the day not cramped like previous years.

I don’t hear much about Maplewood within BA, but it’s always been a top five City of Chicago brewery for me. Always appreciate their solid quality across many styles, and managing their contract brewing Program, which they may be down to a couple left out of Great Central, if any at this stage (the bartender not sure if they are completely done with Great Central, which does good work as well).

A great place to visit in by Beer Triangle / Ground Zero ( Revolution to The Beer Temple to Maplewood). If I’m hitting Chicago for a craft beer excursion, you have much of what you need within two ish miles.

Hope you get a chance to stop here next visit, perhaps a good cluster for @GuyFawkes and or others to meet.
