I know I have a lot :stuck_out_tongue: but that’s another Tonewood favorite of mine. You gotta try that one fresh next time, it’s got this great subtle floral character I love, crazy that note is still hanging on for you too. Hopefully it comes back in fall like it normally does.

Time for my nightcap and it’s another one from the amazing hit from @Ozzylizard
The last RIS I tried from Adroit Theory I rather
rated hard because the style is so dear to me and I have high standards.
This is another to sweet and smooth RIS but it was so dang tasty that I rated it well despite my standards.
Pour is darker than stout black with a very dark brown dense head that is impressively tall yet leaves no lacing.
The taste, well, it isn’t a proper RIS, simply much to smooth and sweet. However, it’s freaking delicious. So much dark chocolate and mild coffee. Rich and smooth.
The feel is properly viscous , needs to have body to carry the flavors.
OA, as long as you are not set on a “proper” RIS, this is an exceptionally tasty stout. Darned near a pastry stout.[IMG]
Thank you Bob, this was amazing.

CANNED ON 05/20/25. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.

A: Bright luminescent yellow with 2-finger off-white frothy head with good retention and excellent lacing down the glass.

S: Bright citrus hop aromas dominate with grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, and orange along with lime and guava with a light dank note in the background. Low esters, lightly fruity.

T: Flavor is also bright and punchy with tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple followed by orange and lime. Lighter tropical and stone fruit flavor mid-palate with peach and guava and a light dank herbal note in the finish. Low esters and low bitterness.

M: Light-medium body with high carbonation and slightly dry finish. Not really a hazy feel but pleasant.

O: ZG Cone Head Haze is an excellent hazy ILA with a citrus-forward character but a wide array of hop flavors with light dank hook in the finish. Great hazy - wry refreshing.

Oddside Ales XV bottled Feb 2025. Aromas of huge dark chocolate fudge cake. Taste follows with dark chocolate fudge cake, vanilla, toffee, marshmallow, wood, pine, herbal, grass. Light pine/char bitter finish. Medium carb and full body. Super silky velvety malt body. Lingering chalky roast drying. No acrid/astringent. They must have been trying for black forest cake with this. No blackberry fruit character at all. Just rich malts and dessert characters. 4.5/5

My first Tree House review, from the Green Bay BA Blast
    Very HHHazyyy
    [IMG]
    Appearance: Cloudy yellow, ok head.

    Smell: Vegetal aroma, some citrus.

Taste: Hoppy. Melons, various fruit rinds. Fruit cocktail shows up as a secondary flavor after it warms up a bit. Not particularly sweet, actually seems kind of bitter and finishes dry.

Overall: First review of a Tree House beer at the Green Bay BA Blast. Had a few other TH as well, but sat down for a review with this. Way less sweet than I expected, actually seemed quite bitter. It's fine but I would not seek it out again.

PKG: 05/08/25. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.

A: Hazy gold with 1- finger white big-bubbled head with poor retention and scant lacing.

S: Aroma is mostly lime and tangerine with light berry

T: Flavor is very strong blueberry with spritzy lime to add to the refreshing quality, but the flavor while good is a bit 2-note and done. Light berry esters.

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and medium finish.

O: Industrial Arts Party Flavors is a good summer hazy with a refreshing sweet blueberry and lime combo, but it doesn’t bring a lot of complexity in aroma or flavors.

Well, I am finally back here. I shouldn't have said I was having another at Titonka Brewing, because it jinxed me. I got called into work for an emergency situation. 4 hours later I was at work, and closed tonight. Home now, and finishing what I started at Titonka Brewing 8+ hours ago.

Rooster Tails - Titonka Brewing - Titonka, IA - American Amber - 4.5%

The first pic is the pour I had to abandon before even trying. At least another group got to enjoy it. The 2nd pic is now, at home from a can. The head was different, a bit. On tap, there was nothing. From the can there was a good head, but poor retention. The beer is lacking aroma, and has a body that seems too light. The flavor is good, and that is making me happy tonight back home.

From a 16oz can. No date on the can. I wanted to try this at the brewery, but I got called to work for an emergency situation.

This beer has a nice dark amber color to it, and is fairly clear. On tap at the brewery there was no head to the beer in the glass. At home, there was a 2 finger tan colored head. The head had fairly poor retention and there's no lacing on the glass.
The aroma is super faint. I am just getting a super faint caramel aroma, and that's it.
There's more to the flavor than the nose let on. I am getting the caramel that my nose was picking up, but it is way stronger in the flavor.
Very light body, and it does seem to be lighter than the style should be. It is not watery, just light.
The flavor is the star of the show here. It is not a bad beer by any means, but is lacking in the aroma and body department.

I think I'll have one more new beer before I call it a night. Yes, I will actually be back soon.

This is a pleasant surprise. I have a feeling it is super fresh, even though there is no date on it. So much tropical hop flavors in this beer. So damn delicious.

From a 16oz can with no date on it.

This looks as it should for the style - murky, juicy, hazy. The color is a pale golden color. There's a 2 finger white head that had ok retention with a bit of lacing on the glass.
Holy cow! This is so damn tropical smelling. There's just a ton of pineapple, grapefruit, and mango in the nose. There's an earthy tone to the aroma.
I am getting a lot of the tropical notes in the flavor. I get a great hit of pineapple. There's some grapefruit that comes into the mix. There's a nice hint of an earthy flavor from the hops. There's a nice solid bitterness on the back.
The body does not seem as juicy as I'd like from the style, but not too much off the mark. The bitterness feeling does linger in my throat for a long time.
Damn, I am actually quite impressed with this beer. It is quite good and close to the style.

This does it for me today, see you all tomorrow. Cheers!

Here's another oddity-- a "Juicy Blonde Ale" called Highlights from Pfeiffer Brewing in Anaheim.

The flavor is juicy, as advertised, with the slippery oat mouthfeel. It's just a little on the sweet side which is fine since it has that fruity-tangy taste. Light flavor of lemon-lime with some melon in the aroma. Overall this is quite a pleasant brew with a moderate ABV. Quite tangy and certainly more interesting than the typical Blonde Ale.
