I'll be up at Big Axe Brwg in Nisswa in a few weeks and their beer Fire Cat is bad ass. Habanero. Hoping to get some cans.

 

Sam Adams Lager and clam chowder at Logan

 

Tree House - King Fern right now, real great DIPA brewed with Citra, Peacharine, Motueka, and Paradisi hops. Interesting flavors of peach, nectarine, mango, papaya, passionfruit, dark berry, lime, grapefruit, orange citrus, sweet vanilla cream, slight toasty caramelized bready malts, and dank resinous floral earthy herbal pine sap. A pretty unique and interesting flavor profile on this one, I'm enjoying it. Cheers all!

Mmm hmm. I tend to like pepper Porters and Lagers over IPAs but I can be pleased with pepper action in our complex of beer styles.

 

Continuing on with my Sonny Rollins remembrance, a short lived band he did in the late 70's with Ron Carter, McCoy Tyner, and Al Foster. Holy crap what a lineup, I don't know why Al Foster didn't get billing on the front cover as well...but oh well

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale in the glass.

 

While Atomic Torpedo is a good beer but leans sweet for me, the BA Atomic Torpedo's unknown time in a barrel has definitely tamped down the sweetness and actually makes the Mosaic stand out with a more pronounced pine bitterness on the back end. Solid stuff!
