07 Mephistoles

    So I ran across a few bottles of the Batch 3 Mephistoles from Avery. Bottled 2007. Before I head back there to buy them for myself or IP trades I want to know if they are worth it.

    Since this forum gets a lot of good activity I thought I'd post here.

    worth it for drinking. trading-wise, i know i could buy it off the shelf, but not sure how common that is (shrug).

    I just recently got a couple of bottles of the 08. If its any indication, the 07 has really fallen off IMO. The 08 batch 4 was a bozzy, soy saucy mess.

    I tried the 08 and at 16%, Im not surprised at how boozey it was. Hard to drink, and I usually love those thick imperials.

    I recently had an 06 and the tasting group all agreed it was fantastic.
