Do these two valuate the same as more recent years?

I've had success trading Hunahpu's for '10 - '14 over the last two years, but now that I'm going back a bit farther and I wasn't sure if I'd be as successful. The Hunahpu's I have are '14s.

If you're going by taste, the '08 is going to be much harder to land, because it was the last year that Dark Lord lived up to the world-class rep that it once had. I doubt Huna would do it for either year, though, simply because people can give up much less than a 5-6 year old, cellared beer for a Huna (& that comes from a Huna lover).

Good luck! Landing the '08 would be worth it. I'm down to my last bottle, & it's still an amazing beer.

Thanks for the feedback! That all makes sense and is good to know about the 08.

I'll have to think about throwing in some plusses if I want to manage to acquire those

I have 1 more '07 Dark Lord, and the last bottle we opened was drinking amazingly well (this coming from someone who poo-poos recent vintages of DL). It would take a lot more than Huna to pry it away from me.

I got an 08 & 09 DL for a Hill Farmstead CD 6 and MC 1 when they were released.

Did a Dark Lord vertical on the dime of a good friend. We had 09 through 14. IMO 09 didn't age well at all and was probably 2nd to the last out of all of them.
