i'd love to try BA yeti too, more than i'd like to have BCBS again... but watch out, there seems to have been lots of cases of infected BA yeti bottles. a bad trader would be quick to unload his probably-infected BA yeti for your BCBS, and a good trader might not realize the risk and, say, drink your BCBS before you open the BA yeti and realize it's undrinkable.

don't roll the dice on BA yeti if you really value the BCBS. unless you can find a really conscientious trader who will replace with something equally good if the yeti is infected (which it probably will be).

I read what he said and still my comment stands. That is pretty crazy.

I traded mine plus locals away a few months ago for...I THINK 2 2011 BCBS + BB 4d and regular 4d. I was getting a vertical together so I had a decent amount of similar trades going at once.

I'm looking for a bottle of this, but I want a 12oz bottle only. What would it take for this (sorry for threadjacking, but this seems like a good place to ask for info on this) to go? Surly Smoke, Abyss (11), CW Brewer's Reserve stuff (BBS, BBW, Peruvian Morning), and other limited on the shelf stuff work for this? I'd go over $4$ obviously, but would that be a turd offer or reasonable?

I got 2 of these bombers for $4$ in 2 different trades. Nothing too fancy really.

I used mine to baste a turkey. Not sure if that helps.

Not really, fartknocker. But I'm sure that turkey was damn good!

If it makes you feel better about not finding one, I thought the '09 was a mediocre vintage of BCS.

I'm just making fun. I've heard claims that coincide with your remarks; I've had the 09-11 and would have to agree. Its not really the beer I'm after, but more of the novelty of a 22oz of BCBS.

I prefer the 2009 vintage over the 2008. I think that 2008 is on the way down.

I opened an '08 a few months ago that was perfect. Your experience will vary depending on storage at this point and how well those twist off caps kept oxygen out.

Yeah thats probably true. I drank an 08 within the last 30 days and the oxidation was so heavy the beer wasnt even enjoyable and I love BCBS.
