Was organizing the shitstorm that is my cellar, and found a 4pk of 2009 Breakfast Stout. Just curious if this holds any trading value, before I ask for a bottle of Better Half and hear crickets (or some other beer along those lines). Worst case scenario, I'll have 4 fun things to throw in as extras. Cheers, D
Probably little trade value because the consensus is that FBS is best fresh. The coffee fades with age and, as that drives the flavor profile of the beer, most people would value FBS more highly when fresh. With that said, there are likely some people who would be interested in trying it because it's novel, but I'm not sure what they'd trade for it. Based on your crickets, not a Better Half!
