Their webpage is vague, just mentions "prime real estate - once the construction is finished" & also that they'd like to expand beyond a retail beer establishment. Does this mean more of a restaurant?
I just find it strange that a place just listed as a Pittsburgh beer destination in last months BA magazine is now in liquidation.
Its been in rough shape for a while. I haven't even stopped there since whole foods opened because of price and selection. It used to be the place to go with the old owners but heard of troubles with the new owners. They were selling stock in the company about a year ago to try to raise capitol, I guess it was for a move? Who knows.
stopped by today. not much left on the shelves. they didnt even mark anything down. still asking 14.99 for st choklat. they have 10% off a mix six pack, but im pretty sure that was always the deal. maybe their prices will be more down to earth in the new location.
They certainly better be, or else they will be doing this same liquidation again in the near future. I refuse to spend a dime there because of the ridiculous pricing.
