Will have to give them a go. Avery has nothing to say about a beer named, Joe? Seems like research would make Joe's Pilsner pop up with a simple search...

I read that as "meditation" EVERY TIME you mention it.

my experience is exactly the opposite. i get reassigned a new kid from bud every few months who is still trying to figure out all the products and deal levels whereas my coors rep generally seems to know what's going on.....

10 Barrel in Boise is fun to go to in person. The beer is solid, but I have never bought anything from them outside of the restaurant. Food however is very very good, pretty much the reason we go. No idea how they will do in Colorado, curious to see though.

I had Apocalypse IPA last night - it was $3.50 for a bomber from Grape Expectations in Park Hill - couldn't say no to that price! Solid beer, dank and chewy hops, very much like a WC IPA should be. Doubt I'd do much more from them unless I see good prices/freshness but I thought it was a good beer.

I thought the Joe IPA was really good. I would buy again. I have a bottle of the IIPA in the fridge that I'll get to this week.

Lived in Portland the last 3 years and visited the 10 barrel brewery in Bend multiple times. I now live in Denver. I was really disappointed when I heard about the buyout.

Anyway, IMO, Apocalypse is decent and worth a try at the right price. Cucumber Crush is actually really good if that's what you are in the mood for (tastes like straight cucumber juice). But their best that I have had is called OG. It's a wheat IPA. Keep an eye out for it as their distro increases. However, I don't think I'll be buying 10 Barrel any longer
