Next April will be 10 years for me
Congrats on those beers and celebrating 10 years, nice accomplishment.
Cheers to 10 years!!
Congrats! I joined on my 21st birthday after doing a ton of craft beer research the few nights leading up to it. I had known for years prior that I was interested, however. I was part of a metal forum/online community that had a thread wherein everyone posted what music they were listening to, and sometimes people posted the beers they were drinking. Almost like the inverse of how WBAYDN? threads always have beer in the post, but have the poster's current music obsession/currently-listening selection in the post as well. I haven't been there for many years, as the metal community can sometimes be pretty toxic, but I've found that, in general, BA is quite a great place to hang out. Cheers to 10 more years, from one decade-old BA to another!
Uncle Jacobs stout, my ownIRS and my own Barly wine.
Can't think of anything clever but congratulations . We are better people because of Beeravocate! Not nicer or more humane but better beer consumers!
I saw your thread and made a calendar note about my 10 year anniversary on 6/29/2020. I’m 52 minutes late for mine, but figured I’d piggy back off your thread. (Sorry ).
I remember stumbling upon this place when searching for beer resources online. And what a great place it’s been. So much knowledge, camaraderie and interest in beer. Nice people. Genuine people.
Cheers on hitting the 10 year mark, and let's hope to celebrate again in 2030!
Requestng my 10-yr pin RN
I got a watch after 10 years at my longest employed job. :-D
Forums had that old tabbed-over response thing so you could keep better track of replies. If it was a contentious post, it could go on for pages...
Just saw my reply and realized that I hit 10 over the weekend!
Congrats! I'm not quite there myself, but it's starting to look likely I will be there one day. Would say this is the best beer place also for an NA connoisseur
The goal on this site certainly isn't getting hammered!
Also, reviews often had a tendency to state what the burp after drinking a beer tasted like.
Horse blanket was a much more common flavor descriptor 10 years ago. Haven't seen the term ass puckeringly sour used in a while either.
I really miss those reviews from the Overlord.
