10 Years On BeerAdvocate

    June 30th I hit my 10 year anniversary as a beeradvocate. I feel older than ever but can proudly say I met my love thru BA.com and even got my lil' cousin into "chasing Hopslam". Still haven't been to Boston or The Publik House yet Alstroms. :slight_smile:

    and you already have 190 points! I remember when you used to have to review 20 beers before you were able to add 1 on this site...I worked towards that

    I remember when people just drank beer and there was no B.A. to post about it. Hell there was no internet. We just sat around and talked about beer. Damn I guess I'm old.

    yeah, guess I'll be a beer dungeon master by christmas. i was really suprised how fast i gained points. the main reason I'm here though is just to talk to people that love beer and hopefully gain some knowledge. here's to the next 10 years of beers, cheers!

    I've been a beer advocate for 30 years and also met my wife while we were "drinking" beer 27 years ago...however I've only been a BA member for six months :wink:

    I remember when I didn't know one other person who drank fine beer, and when I started to brew beer late 80's I didn't know one person who knew how to brew to give me help and advice, nor anyone to enjoy drinking it with me.. Guess I am reaaaaaallllly old.
