Just reviewed my 100 beer, I purposefully went with Allagash White. It was the beer that really turned me on to craft beer, up until I tried that I was mostly drinking things like Newcastle, hoegarden & other imports. After allagash white i started exploring craft beer. Now I'm more into DIPAs, RIS, Baltic Porters, IPAs....... IE big flavors. Basically Allagash is my "first" favorite, what is the beer that converted/started your journey as a BA.

Looking forward to the next 100 beers.

I may not be as experience as others, but welcome to our ranks!

I think my 100 was Great Lakes Christmas Ale, and I gave it all 5s. I picked it purposefully since i love the damn stuff. and there aint a damn thing wrong with Hoegaarden.

Congrats on the milestone! Mine was an '06 DFH golden shower back in November. I just reviewed my 200th tonight actually (triple bock). Enjoy the next 100!

Smuttynose Old Brown Dog was what turned me on to craft beer. My 100 review was like a Keystone Light - wasn't paying attention.

Conversely, my 100th was Allagash Black lol I received it in my first trade and at the time, thought it was the most special brew I'd ever lay my hands. Stepped it up for my 500th with Dark Lord, and I'll be planning my 1000th eventually (currently at 834). THAT will be a hell of a decision!

Cheers, and welcome to the ranks!
