Been to this party the last 2 years and had a blast - missed out on tickets this year, but probably better off since I have a baby now - either way I'll be living vicariously thru untappd checkins tonight (masterpiece eclipse getting some awesome reviews so far….) and cracking the 2012 party bottle with the wife. Hope everyone has a blast.

Had no bottle limits this year. Many of the beers they were touting in the party email sold out quickly and party guests got shut out within 30-45 minutes. Fun party, but getting shut out on so many variants is frustrating and seems like it could have been easily avoided.

 

Not sure what the hell they were thinking. Masterpiece was by far the best beer of the night. Are the rumors of someone buying 70 bottles true?

 

I love how masterpiece already has one rating and of course it's a 5/5. Guess we can tell who has cases of it and who doesn't.

 

Yea, my last job's boss who I sold my tickets to I gave him one request, a single bottle of Vanilla/Java and he got nothing but rumors were flying around of people buying stupid amounts and he heard 70 bottles but not what beer it was. Ugh, oh well ISO Vanilla/Java Eclipse.

 

Somebody bought 70 bottles of Masterpiece? That's over 3 grand. Yikes.

Huh, ok I assumed that email was all of them were no limits, I went back to the previous email and it does mention bottle limits would be announced at the party. Well he got shut out anyways pretty quick. Last year at the party blending the Vanilla and Java easily was my fav eclipse ever released. Pissed I missed out on futures of it I woulda grabbed a case easy.

Odd they didn't limit it when last year they limited the Pappy to 1 case each (which I really thought was ok at best honestly and not worth $45 a bottle).

My thing is that, considering that your tickets for the party were sold out in less than a few minutes earlier this year, why would you stand up at the bar and say that you did not expect your most sought after beers to sell out?
