I just drank my one and only '12 KTG. I want another but I'm guessing the trade value is pretty damn high . Bombers are great for sharing but this size makes cracking them something for a small tasting or mini share with a fellow BA or buddy. Fortunately from a trade and my buddy in Sac town making the trip to RR for me, I have quite a few beats. How many are you guessing for a '12 KTG? Would something like 1 Beat, and medium rares like BH, ADs work? Would an '11 BT land one?

Regardless, I managed to get a Kate 1:1 with a Beat 5, so it's doable, although my guess is that everyone who'd be up for that (from the Kate end) has done it already since it's obviously a good deal, and I think more traders have spare beat than have spare Kates. But who knows, you could try it. I drank the Kate recently, and it was quite good. I'd rank it a hair behind Darkness in the "best non-BA stout" list (I don't count the spirals as BA).
