'12 Parabola sightings in LA?

    Anyone seen any yet? Do I need to make the trek up to Total Wine in Northridge to get my fix/case? :stuck_out_tongue:

    I was just about to post the same question! I have not seen any yet. Places i have asked have said to check back first week of may. I have and still nothing. Will post as soon as I see it!

    Yeah I called yesterday. The guy on the phone knew exactly what I was talking about and half way through the word "Parabola" he cut me off and got all chipper. He said they haven't arrived yet, but he would be buying some for himself too and was waiting anxiously, hahaha.

    In the past, does anyone know how many cases they get? They got an F-ton of XV so I'm hoping they get a lot of Parabola as well.

    I can't speak on Total Wine, but the past couple years, Parabola and Abacus/Sucaba have been allocated very differently from the anniversary beers. BevMos around San Diego will get a ton of the anniversary beers (~100 bottles in some cases), yet only a couple cases of Parabola/Sucaba. I would be surprised if anyone in Southern California gets a significant amount of Parabola.

    Thanks for the heads up. I just called Bevmo West Hollywood, Burbank, and Glendale and they said they don't have any and there isn't an order in their system placed for it. Take with a grain of salt.

    Total Wine Tustin didn't have it last week, either. But the guy I spoke to made it seem like they had gotten a few bottles already but sold out

    One thing I've learned, never trust anything a Total Wine employee tells you about special releases. I had a similar experience with the last Parabola release. I had heard they had some and asked any employee who said they hadn't gotten any yet, I then called the next day to see if it came in and was told it had all sold out the week before.
