Just curious, never been to one, but I have one within 5 miles. What are the storage conditions like there, and how is the dating there, do they come in old or do they tend to sit?

I live in mid-Michigan and I have only been able to purchase one bottle at a time...on the rare occasions that I can find it...and it is always $10+ per bottle. I'm in Syracuse right now to watch Michigan State play hoops and Wegmans sold me a four pack for $40. They would have sold me two four packs if I wanted. I had to get it at customer service and they told me no one has purchased any from them in a week. I guess it just depends what part of the country you're in.

I feel bad for you BAs living on, or near the coasts- seems like everything is more expensive in your areas. (Not surprisingly.) Here in "fly-over country", 120 Min. is consistently $8 a bottle, or $30 a 4 pack. Heck, on Friday I had a 10 ounce pour at a bar and it was still only $9.25.

$9.25 for a 10oz. pour, I live in Ohio & I'd pass on that, too rich for my blood at the bar any way. Which begs the question are bars getting around to jackin craft like they do for wine, definitely starting to notice this more & more lately.

I don't know, following price threads on here it seems SE Mich is right on level - if not higher - than prices seen on the coasts. Eg., 120 is never less than $11, KBS+BCBS usually >$8, and all 3 still sell out in minutes. And those are all limited releases, but even something like Lagunitas IPA is rarely <$10/6pk, and usually $11. I see it for like $8-9 everytime I go to beer stores out of state.

I wish the Costcos in my area had this kind of offering. I'm always disappointed with the selection at the Southlake store.

I don't understand this comment. Because they... have good products at great prices, their house brand is actually the equal or superior to name brands, they actually pay their employees a living wage...?

To bring it back on topic, I am always impressed with the beer selection at CostCo - particularly if you are having a party, it's a great place to pick up a case or two of beer that you won't mind having leftovers from.

I think the standard markup for craft at a bar is 300%.

When I ordered that 120 Min at the bar the other day, I was thinking, "Oh God, what are they gonna charge me for this?". I was sure it'd be over $10, so I was actually pleasantly surprised at only paying $9.25.

I guess you're just not cut out for the bar experience @Blueribbon666? (With a screen name like that, shouldn't you just be able to summon demons and pay whatever price you'd like? Or maybe Lucifer hasn't blessed your pocketbook yet?)

Just walked into a local wine shop. They have 120 but it's 12.99.

If Pennsylvania Costco's sold beer... well, the lines for the checkout suck now ... it would be a fools day out.
"What did you do today, Honey?"
"I waited in the line at Costco. How was your day?"

Everywhere I've been, we're ***** on the price of 120 minute. $15-$20 each in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Considering it is $36 for a 4-pack at the brewery, something funny is going on here.

The going rate is $10 a bottle on store shelves (unless vintage and then it is usually discounted ).

Wow, really? Have another 120 min. It's not about bar experience for me, it's about the price point, but people like what they like I'm sure there's something I'd pay that much for but if I could get a bottle for $8 I'll brown bag it every time. Pretty funny how the handle got you all riled, it's Sunday, a day of rest & reflection.
