Shell Station in Friendswood had a case of 120 for sale.

I drank one fresh, thanks to another BA, and it was too sweet for me. I'm gonna have to buy another one and let it age and mellow a bit.

WFM Downtown Austin had a buttload of 120 on Thursday. Apparently on the East Coast, this stuff gets lines of people buying it, so my dad bought a 6-pack to bring back with him to Florida.

It's sweet fresh, and gets even sweeter IMO as it ages. I tried an '09 120 at Freetail Ananke thanks to another BA, and I couldn't get past 2 oz.

That's what I was thinking. This stuff is relatively easy to find and there's always a lot.

Currently drinking the 60, 90, and 120 minute side by side. I agree the 120 is too sweet for me. Gonna be tough to finish this 12er but I aint no drain pourer... First time having the 60 and 90 too and really enjoy the 60 minute.

I have a couple of these. I have tasted 2012 and 2013. These are very syrupy and sweet regardless of the age. The 18% ABV kinda kills the IPA taste though if you want to be completely honest. It is a nice "one off" beer that you can say you have had. However, if you are gonna drink it I recommend that you don't have shit to do later...lol! It tastes good, but it is way better when a 12oz is shared between 3-4 people. Honestly, 12oz at 18% is just too over the top to me, but that is just my opinion. It does taste good for the first 2oz and then the booze taste mixed with a lemon taste seems to overwhelm the rest of the beer. I haven't had it on tap though, so maybe I am missing out??

Did my first 12oz of this beer in 2006. Then knocked back a DR2. Tried to drink a Samuel Smith's Nut Brown and couldn't. A buddy was over and we were playing Xbox and were so messed up it was hard to play video games. lol

It's a hot mess, but age helps. It still holds a dear place in my heart since it was one of the first beers that made me feel hardcore about craft beer.

I personally say hold off on drinking 120 minute for as long as possible - at least a year.

I hate IPA's but 120 with over a year on it is actually pretty damned tasty.

It's just not THAT good for the boners people get for it. It'll get ya drunk, but I doubt I'll buy one again.

I'd rather drink 75 Minute or Burton Baton than 120. It's just a hot mess.

    BURTON BATON IS GOD

j/k, but it is really really good. It's not even a horrible deal, but I have a haaaard time spending $16 on a 4-pack.

...eek. I haven't been beer-shopping lately. That's scary :slight_frown:. I would totally buy BCBS at whatever price, though.
