Anyone been here? I’m visiting my folks and they’ve mentioned going to check it out? If so is the beer any good? Any good bottle shops in the general area?
lower your expectations with 13 Stripes ... it's a great venue that scores with style points but I've found their beers to be lacking ... consider hitting up Southern Growl, it's near 13 Stripes and they have 50+ beers on tap with dang good food. Community Tap is the closest bottle shop ... they've got 20 beers on tap too. Good spot. Greenville Beer Exchange is the best bottle shop ... small but mighty shop in downtown Greenville with 16 beers on tap. Great spot.
Southern Growl has good food too. I don’t like Greenville Beer Exchange, but if you’re there, around the corner is Barleys and Trap Door, both good stops
