Just found it on the shelves in Orlando/WP, none of that behind the counter business.

WP ABC. Will be cleared out within the hour now that they've added a bottle limit. (4 left as of 5 minutes ago). College Park = cleared out.

I got the email from Luekens in the AM and grabbed 2 bottles online. Didn't realize it was that popular until I saw their facebook post around 12:30 about it selling out online.

Last year there were cases of this on the floors of every ABC and Total Wine. I could get a bottle whenever I wanted one throughout September and October. I was shocked of the limits today!

The WP ABC that was mentioned. Took one and left the rest for the masses.

yeah...they will probably be shipping more. The popularity of CCB has only grown in the past year. At least you can find Jai Alai , Cracker, and their other staples with ease now. I remember when those were scarce.

This whole CCB obsession needs to stop. Don't get me wrong, GG is a great beer, but this beer was readily available last year and I'm assuming a portion of it last year went towards GGA. There's no reason to be chasing or hoarding this beer. Just because it hit the trade forums tho, people are going to try and buy cases of it to try and flip for Prop or something ridiculous.

Buy a few bottles for your bros/trading partners or maybe for a nice extra, but otherwise this beer should almost be exclusively bought to drink. Nobody is gonna trade for a GG vert in 3 years.

Good Gourd is a beer that the masses are flocking to as well since so many places have it listed as the best pumpkin beer (and pumpkin beers are a good gateway to craft beers for the masses). Unfortunately supply is going to be greatly outweighed by demand on this one by a ton. I've got my hands on a few bottles and per my wife "you better not trade those away", it's a great beer to drink, just wish there was more it.

My point is there is more of it. It has been sitting towards the top of pumpkin beers for awhile now. Nothing has changed since last year except there should be more of it (22oz bottles, no GGA).

It's not the masses that cause beers like GG and MZ to fly off shelves since the masses don't leave work at noon to hit up as many liquor stores as they can on their lunch break. Its the people who have 4 cases of MZ looking to flip that are drying up these beers.

If I remember correctly from your previous posts, you're down in my area (Ft Lauderdale). Am I wrong about this? If not would you mind letting me know where you got yours?

Ok, so, Tampa, Miami, and Orlando, it's scarce. Come on down to fort Myers and Naples! No limits! As I said, I picked up a case, no problem, no limits!

A buddy of mine in Naples grabbed a bottle at Total Wine. he said they only had 9 left and there was a 1pp limit. I have a feeling I won't be able to get my hands on a bottle unless ABC gets it down here in Kendall. the special releases Total Wine gets go so dam quick. Oh well at least Fat Jack has hit down here.

Just got to Sebring for a charity event at the race track here and on the way I stopped at the Plantation TW to see if they got any GG yet - no dice.

I'm out of town till Fri next week so if it's anything like Zhukov was I may be out of luck for '14 GG.

Wish there was a way for me to buy bottles online for pickup @ CCB with my Catador beers ala Bruery's system (never actually been there but I have a trustee for it).

Went out to dinner last night in Boca Raton and saw Good Gourd on the bottle list...$29/bottle. What is the world coming to?

Not sure how Boca is, but at any restaurant or bar in the Miami area a 2x markup off is the minimum you'll see for bottles of wine or beer, with 2.5-3x being more common at higher end places.

If GG retails at $13, that means it's $29 restaurant price would be entirely expected.

Yup. Ever see their markup on wine? Ridiculous.
