Ill disagree. I had it first on both Friday and Saturday at FOBAB so clean slate for tasting. I was serving on Friday so I had a good size pour. It was awful. However I loved it on Sunday. If you put them side by side blind I would have called them different beers.

Me too, but I'm an idiot. I will be out there in the freezing cold. Waiting. Like an idiot.

What time is everyone lining up? This is my first time, and I was thinking of going at like 5 or 6 am, but want to make sure that's early enough to get the full allotment. From what I've read on Binny's FAQ page, it should be early enough, but to get some of the older variant releases, it's a good idea to get there basically at pre-dinner time on Thanksgiving. Thanks for the feedback fellas.

I think you're better served asking that in the Chicago Black Friday thread in the Great Lakes forum.

People will be getting there at all sorts of times, though. Some people will get there Thursday evening, some during the night, some early Friday morning and some will say to just show up close to open. It is all about how much you want a certain variant and how much risk you're willing to take and sleep you're willing to lose.

You should believe it because it obviously varies significantly across the country. One man's oasis is another man's desert.

Is your corner store a CDC infection lab?

I have tried so many BA and Non BA stouts this past year I can hardly keep track. I went into trying them as basically a stout virgin, and in my opinion BCBS is the Gold Standard in BA stouts, It's that friggen good. All my bottles of 15 were excellent (got lucky, maybe?). But all the people that say they're done with BCBC +variants, all I can say is thank you because it's more for the rest of us. Cheers.

ha no. but honestly I think the % of beer drinking population that knows about the infection is pretty small

I'm in rural Alabama with the family for Thanksgiving, and the local place is already selling BCBS 2016, has four cases of reg in the cooler.

Does anybody know if any BCBS will be hitting Ohio(specifically Columbus) this year now that Ohio changed their ABV laws?

No - I've never seen a place release it before Black Friday. If you love BCBS (like me) and live in SE MI, be prepared for frustration. You will have to travel many miles to find it and be prepared to pay ~$20/bottle for regular/BW.

And I'll add that I had that bad experience as well last year being in MI to visit family for Thanksgiving. I had heard all the stories about how hard it was to get (including from my brother), but I was determined to hit up stores and find some. What a waste of time. I realized I was much better hitting the post-Black Friday stores when I got back to Chicago.

Where will this stuff be available around KCMO on Black Friday? I'm square on how I'm getting mine, but I have a friend in MO who needs help.
