Get on the lists? We are still months in advance?

Not trying to sound like a jerk, just figured it was a possibility. I am usually anti list, but went to a local place and signed up, pretty much at the top for maple rye and coffee.

Binny's. There are plenty of people in line pretty much after Thanksgiving dinner from what I've heard, and it grows from there. Last year I heard you could get there near opening and still get a full allocation.

The whole lineup (including Prop) is released on Black Friday, but Rare isn't an annual release so that won't be there this year. There are rumors about an additional "extended aged" barleywine being released, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Just want to remind all the people planning on coming into Chicago to take our allocations of Prop and BCBS that someone gets shot every two hours in Chicago....Enjoy your whale hunting.

I'm in a pretty rural area, I was on the list like 4 to 5 months in advance and didn't get any, not whining just stating . I'll still try and I did get ahold of some still, just not that way :grinning:.

All bottles come with infection starter packs.

I'll be in Tampa, doubt I'll be able to get any. But I really wanted to try the coffee one :slight_frown:

I wonder when Goose Island will officially announce this year's lineup? I know we've been discussing on here what has shown up with approved labels, but there still hasn't been an official announcement - has there? I went back to last year's thread and saw they did it at the end of July last year, so they're running behind this year. I'm sure that is heavily impacted by the infection refund process they have going on, so I wonder if they'll wait until this refund window closes in mid-September.

Within the major market that is Tampa, FL... I would be shocked if you were not able to find some BCBS on Black Friday. Providing that you have the ability to make your way to a respectable bottle shop, I'm sure that you'll land some bottles.

Not sure if I'm gonna ran around crazy trying to grab these up like I did last year.

545 or so at a suburban Binny's just barely got us regular, Prop, Rye, Coffee, and Barley last year. Prop was close to being out. They got so few Rare that those went only to those who camped out Thanksgiving night. Things creep up more all the time so figure 530-ish for a lineup

Just like last year, there's only the wildest speculation. I liked last years Prop but really the only safest bet is the BCBS especially if they're releasing them in the 16.9 oz bottles again (seems to be the only consistent version of the beer that avoids all the crazy ingredients).

I work at the Trader Joe's that shares the same building with the Goose Brew Pub so I might see if I can pick up something nice from the pub around that time. I look forward to BCBS, but never really been impressed with all the variants. With all the recalls and high expectations not met (mostly set from '14s releases) it kinda doesn't make sense to get super hyped for this beer.

I know I'll prob enjoy this years release like I do every year. It's always a pleasant surprise when I find Coffee/BCBS on draft somewhere or some random vintage bottle in the pub at the odd times thru the year. The thing is that I kinda get the feeling that people are wanting another 14's VR and Prop. I just don't see something like that being made again and only know people are going to be depressed that this year's bottles only taste like a good barrel aged stout.

BA Chocolate Caliente Malevolence however, is very much worth the hype though and hope to get my hands on a bottle this year (I remember it being released around the same season with Jones Dog).

after last years sour fest I'm sure it will be a tad easier to find. I for one will not be going after this unless I happen across them. should go back to the 22 ozers atleast they werent infected :stuck_out_tongue:

funny enough I saw a rare for sale today and passed on it for fear of infection :slight_frown:, would love to try it tho..

A few folks won't buy again, but far more have been unable to get some and will jump at the chance. So for the folks that now have the chance it will be easier to get, but it will disappear just as fast.

Every TW in the Bay area will have a ton, and ABCs will also have it in smaller amounts. Regular BCBS was around for days last year and in some cases weeks, so you shouldn't have any problem at all.

Anyone know if SC will get variants? Or what states will or won't? Or is it the same as last year..
