    I'm not trying to be "white." I have no problem with anyone of any race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. I have just never been there and can only go off of what I've heard about it, which is really nothing good. I hear Gary in the same sentences as Flint, Detroit, Inglewood, South Chicago, Camden, etc., and I just wanted to see if that was an accurate description. I've been to Chicago plenty of times, I've stayed in New York, D.C., L.A., etc. There's nothing wrong with being cautious when going to a new place and getting the inside info from people who have been there.

    The answer depends on whether you drive, or if you prefer to ride.
    The 18th St. Brwy. is staggering distance on foot from the Miller South Shore Line train station. :grinning:
    The South Shore Line is the last electric interurban railway in North America. Train fare from Chicago (Millennium Sta.) to Miller is $6.00. {You can't get a 16-oz. pour of most craftbeers for only $6.00.}
    Download the train schedule here [PDF]. Note the Saturday service. :sunglasses:

    To get to 3Floyds, you, or somebody you trust, will have to drive.
    I like a cluster [mandatory hop reference] of both breweries' beers. But, since I am not thrilled about driving to venues where I know I will consume beers, 18th St. will win this physical tussle.

    iPhone always autocorrects 3 Floyds to 3 Floyd's. And half the time I don't notice.

    And to answer the original question, I guess it depends on what is on tap to go that day. Either way can't go wrong.
