It sucked. I really didn't want it to since I bought a ticket and all, but yea you got exactly what ou paid for, no special suprises, the guest taps were meh and the taps included were good but not $70 good.

Session 1 attendee here. It was fine. The guest tap offerings were pretty meh. They got us in there pretty smoothly and in the direction of the bottle sales. Bought my full allotment then tried Bitches Bank cognac. Was delicious. $45 delicious? We'll see once I crack the bottle down the road, but it was damn good. Didn't try anything else as I drove and wanted to get home without issues.

I didn't pay for guest taps, but tasted the three banks on tap and wanted to buy another snifter of regular BA bank as I enjoyed it most. No. Not allowed to do that. So essentially paid $70 bucks for 15 oz of beer, and the opportunity to spend $75 bucks on 1 cognac bank and 2 regulars. Also, nothing like the nothing special line up of mostly non barrel aged beers at the barrel massacre. I'm guessing that ticket sales do even worse next year - also, I would guess that they will take a page from DLD and make the beers all inclusive....and probably include some of their sours in that allotment.

I for sure did not do the guest taps, didn't like most of what I got let alone what the guests offered. I will not be attending next year.

Event was fun, well organized and set up pretty well. I was feeling under the weather, so I drove my 3 buddies. I drank cognac, ba and chili bank in that order. all of which were top notch, with the chili being the best. then i had a taste of multifarious. Then I drank a bunch of water. I gave the remainder of my drink tickets to my buddies who drank all their allotment and mine as well. they finished their drinks within the time limit with about 15 minutes to spare. The guest taps were pretty weak, only one sun king and skull 'ole was remotely interesting to me. The food choices were decent, I had some sliders. Overall, it was a very good event, but ultimately overpriced. With half of the event being ala carte, I think that it is more like a $10-25 entry and everything pay as you go would be a better setup. Or they could further simplify the BA Bottles and just do ticketed sales like Bottle Logic or KBS and not deal with all the event stuff. Getting an extra BA Bank bottle was nice. After the event we went and got Bloobs and that line took forever.

They posted on social media yesterday as well. Would have been nice if this and Villain were available last Saturday when I drove down there.

Anyone go by there at all yesterday to have a sense of how much is left? My brother is driving by there today and I'm debating on having him grab 1 or 2 bottles for me if they are around. I'm still not sure I want to pay the $14 for one beer, though, either.

Just be glad that you didn't pay $70 for 2-hours and a lanyard!
