If you haven't tried their stuff yet, you need to. Sinister was awesome and I was lucky enough to try Seven at Brewhaha last weekend - it was delicious.

    Just posted on Facebook:

"Introducing SEVEN, our Black Double India Pale Ale.

Knuckles on the felt. Hit me. Dealer sends another -- a SEVEN with a Jack in the center. Jeff Kuhnie must have rigged the deck. Warrior, Amarillo, and Simcoe hops lend ample bitterness to this roasty Black Double IPA. SEVEN reminds us of a chocolate orange. Oh, it's a Cascadian dark ale? Whatever you say, Buster.

SEVEN will be heading to stores very shortly. Local One Eight members be on the lookout for an email with first access information."

Sounds fantastic. Chocolate orange? Yes please.

The hops in this one are really nice and flavorful (while my iPhone photo skills are mediocre at best).

I really liked it a lot. It was part of a larger tasting so I'm looking forward to picking up a bottle and sitting down with more than a few ounces.

Any friends of pipeworks are friends of mine. Can't wait to go grab this second bottled brew.

Anyone else get an off taste from Sinister? A couple friends and I shared one on Friday and it had a weird sweet, buttery taste towards the finish. I ended up finishing my pour, but it was off putting enough not to finish the bottle.

Haha, yep. Would love to crack it. Was impressed with the Sinister as a first batch...very interested to see how these guys progress.

I'm hoping to include 18th Street and Spiteful in the Pipeworks delivery to Binny's in Algonquin.
