2 Heart drinkers question?

To answer the OP's question, yes I do drink Two Hearted Ale. I took a quick look at the latest 25 reviews on BA for Two Hearted and 13 of 25 were above the aDev rank. So, the beer seems average to me. Average = one of the best IPA's I can find.

 

If all of the beers in the 6-pack were from the same batch (and logically they should be) then you've hit the nail on the head that something about your taste buds (or some other factor) has to be the reason for the difference.

Bell's did have one or two batches that may have had a quality issue back in May of this year (the beer was reported as being unexciting, but not bad) that was documented here in these threads, but I'd suspect that most of those batches are off of the store shelves by now.

 

I generally find the bottled version to be inferior to draft, but that is probably due to treatment/time/etc.

But I havent noticed any problem with the draft version. It does seem to fluctuate some, but that seems to be more my palate than it.

When its what Im in the mood for, its my favorite beer.

 

Really?? I have not noticed anything with them.
