Probably a case of High Life. I'll have a few dollars left for a snack too.

Whatever you do just don't expect confetti to fall when you pull out that twenty.

To squeeze a spree out of twenty bucks I'd go for a big bottle of something I've wanted to try but haven't been willing to shell out for, like one of those intriguing 750s by Prairie Artisanal Ales my local packy is asking so much for, plus a nicely economical Berkshire Czech Pils as a chaser.

Dude, I can get, like, 20 of those single little Lime-A-Rita cans with that. Only 18 or 19 with tax, though...not sure it would be worth it unless I can get 20.

Since I am a quality-over-quantity guy, I am going with a bottle of Fresh Hop ($7ish), a bottle of Hop Stoopid ($4ish) and a sixer of Schlafly Dry-Hopped APA ($8ish).

Ahhhh...the TAX. Now we all have to revise our $20 list. Here in Burlington, its 11%. Ouch... Kills me when buying beer. :slight_frown:

$10 for what ever Pipeworks bomber catches my attention on the shelf. And $10 for Spiteful's new Irish red ale, Fat Badger.

Complete lies! This store does not exist where you're buying $3.50 Headys.

But yeah, mine would include a Hop Stoopid and maybe some FBS. Also not sure why people are being caught up by the word "spree." The point is what you'd do with the $20.

I would find 35 other friends who also have $20 and split my Bruery Hoarders membership.

Wouldn't work here. Have to spend half of it on gas to get outside the state to a respectable beer store, then could only afford one good 6-pack which would be gone by the time I got back home.

Mix and match is a good option for 12 ounce, but you'd still have to be careful. I would really stay with my local options - mix up some Jack's Abby, Mayflower, Ipswich, FoolProof, Berkley, support a co-workers start-up brewery, etc. I think I could get quite a few beers with that strategy and be pretty pleased.
