Drank one a month a go. Huge let down. Lacks all kind of complexity and is just plain boring, you can clearly sense the difference blending does to lambic. Fresh it has a beautiful hoppiness to it, but that is of course all gone. It also has a awkward out-of-place bitterness that bothers me.

    Not a favourite of mine.

I drank a 04 about a year ago and it was one of the best I've had so far, IMHO. If you got an 03 and don't want to risk it I'll gladly trade u for it.

I also had the 04 about a year ago (^^Presumably you were at monks too?^^). Liked it a lot. It lacked the subtle floral herbaceous hoppy character it has fresh, but I enjoyed the beer a lot.

I never really liked Iris until I had a 2003. Bitter, dry, tart... I really enjoyed it. If you have one, drink it.

A bunch of Americans picked it up off the shelf in Copenhagen a couple months back. Jeppe's shop was selling the 375's during CBC / S&B and a lot of Americans were jazzed. I passed, as my bags were stuffed with Framboos :sunglasses:
