I recently had the opportunity to purchase 2 2005 bourbon counties. I was wondering what I may be able to get for 1 of these in a trade? Any idea what this would get? Any input appreciated.

My honest opinion, if you didn't pay an arm and a leg for it, you could probably go $4$ with some brewery only releases.

2005 BCBS is sort of in a weird position right now. There really doesn't seem to be any market for it. A lot of recent reviews have it being moderately to vastly over the hill (partially due to the screw on caps) and not drinking very well.

So I think your best hope is to find someone looking to complete a vertical and see if you can't hook them up. I have from 2008-current, and I have no interest in trying a 2005.

I don't want to put the word novelty out there, because there are people who would really like to tick a 2005 BCBS, but I think there is probably more working against you then in your favor at this point.

Based on very recent experience, 2005 has fallen off the cliff. However, people love big verticals and BCBS is hotter than ever. Since $4$ is only $5 on the bottle, I would expect you could trade for more than that. Likely a nice brewery only, but larger release like BT or DL. Perhaps a little more, if you knew the bottle was stored properly.

For reference, I traded a HotD Fred Magnum for 2005-2010 vertical, one bottle each. That was about six months ago.

The store I bought from confirmed it was stored properly so I have to go on that information when I say it has. I don't think they would have held on to it this long just to pull an elaborate scam. Thanks, guys
